Our approach to transaction signing leverages Multi-Party Computation (MPC), a sophisticated method that divides the private key into multiple shares. These shares are then distributed among different machines or participants, ensuring that no single entity has complete control over the private key. This approach significantly reduces the risk of a single point of failure, making it virtually impossible for unauthorized access to occur even if some shares are compromised1.
To further enhance security, we employ a Signature Policy Engine (SPE). In addition to being stored on the vault owner's mobile device, your encryption key is also securely stored in your chosen backup storage service, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or AWS S3.
